Help Perpetuate the History

Community involvement and financial support are essential to the ongoing work of preservation, conservation, and education at Grove Farm, Waioli Mission House, and Mahamoku museums,  as well as the many historic collections entrusted to our care.

Your tax-deductible donation directly supports:

Preserved by sisters Miss Elsie and Miss Mabel throughout their lifetimes, these historic sites and collections were gifted to the community in 1975 through Waioli Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your contribution continues their vision — protecting these irreplaceable treasures for generations to come.

Share the Stories of Kaua‘i

Our tour guides are storytellers and passionate community members who bring the island’s history to life for visitors, students, and families. Whether you’ve lived on Kaua‘i your whole life or are newly connected to its culture, your voice and perspective can help preserve its legacy.

After completing training, volunteers may lead tours based on their availability and interests. In addition to our regularly scheduled tours, volunteers assist with school visits, kupuna groups, and other special events throughout the week.

Volunteers are a fundamental part of the success of Grove Farm, Waioli Mission House, and Mahamoku museums. If you enjoy sharing stories in authentic and peaceful settings, we invite you to join us in perpetuating the island’s history.
